Diagnosis

Flagellum thick, e.g. 1st flagellomere 1.5X as wide as width of pedicel; mesoscutum and scutellum metallic bluish-green; mesoscutum entirely with engraved and rather strong reticulation, notauli as narrow and distinct grooves in posterior 2/3. Similar to cupreus but with flagellum stout.
